Abdul Fatawu

Often compared in style to Ghanaian legend Abedi Pele, Abdul Fatawu began at Tamale''s Utrecht Academy before starting his senior career with Steadfast FC, with a loan to Dreams FC. His performances for Ghana at the 2021 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations — which Ghana won — propelled him to Sporting CP in Portugal in 2022, where he played in the UEFA Champions League. A loan to Leicester City in 2023/24 became permanent in 2024, and he played a key role in Leicester''s Championship title-winning campaign with six goals and 13 assists. A full Ghana international since 2021 with 17+ caps including a prior World Cup, his blistering pace and trickery on the right wing make him one of the squad''s most dynamic attacking outlets.
