Journey to the top
Christopher Bonsu Baah''s rise has been rapid. After early trials with European giants including Barcelona, Manchester United, and Borussia Dortmund, his professional breakthrough came when he left Ghanaian third-tier side Accra Shooting Stars for Norwegian club Sarpsborg 08 in 2023. After just a handful of appearances, he moved to Belgian side KRC Genk, where over two seasons he made around 90 appearances, scoring five goals with seven assists. In July 2025 he completed a reported €15 million move to Saudi Arabia''s Al-Qadsiah. A left-footed right winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder, he earned his first Ghana call-up in 2025 and is set for his World Cup debut at just 21 years old.
