Ernest Nuamah

Born and raised in Asafo, Kumasi, Ernest Nuamah began with the Right to Dream Academy before joining Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland in January 2022, scoring a man-of-the-match-winning goal on his debut. He moved to Belgian club RWD Molenbeek in 2023, immediately loaned to Olympique Lyon, before the move became permanent in 2024. A Ghana international since 2023, Nuamah''s return to the squad is a significant boost — he had been absent for close to a year after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury, and arrives at the World Cup back to full fitness as one of Ghana''s most exciting wingers.
