Born in Bilbao to Ghanaian parents, Iñaki Williams is one of Athletic Club''s most loyal servants — a product of the club''s youth academy since 2012, he has spent his entire senior career with the Basque club, captaining the side. He represented Spain at under-21 and senior level (one cap, 2016) and the Basque Country representative team before switching allegiance to Ghana in 2022. A powerful, pacy forward, Williams needs little introduction to Ghanaian football followers and remains one of the squad''s most recognisable names heading into his second World Cup.
