Jonas Adjetey''s path began with the Teshie Football Academy before moving through Great Olympics'' and Berekum Chelsea''s youth systems. In 2022 he joined FC Basel, progressing from the under-21 side to the first team, where he played until 2026, when he made the move to German club VfL Wolfsburg. A centre-back who can also play full-back on either flank, he was capped at under-20 level for Ghana in 2022 before earning his senior call-up in 2024. This World Cup marks his first appearance on football''s biggest stage.
